The trailer launch event for Netflix’s highly anticipated romantic drama, Musafir Cafe, took place in Mumbai on Tuesday, July 14, 2026. The grand event was attended by the lead cast, Vikrant Massey, Mahima Makwana, and Vedika Pinto , along with creator-writer Sharanya Rajgopal, director Ruchir Arun, and Tanya Bami (Series Head, Netflix India).
The cast and crew emphasized that Musafir Cafe (which is based on the popular Hindi novel by Divya Prakash Dubey) explores modern-day relationships, timing, and how different people shape us.
Reflecting on his previous successful collaborations with Netflix (such as the dark thriller Haseen Dillruba), Vikrant humorously remarked: ”Yeh Netflix waale mere se bahut twisted kaam karwate hai!” (These Netflix people make me do highly twisted work!)
Vikrant is playing this romantic series after a long time , from his regular sad and serious roles . He is coming producing the series alongwith Netflix
Vedika Pinto (making her Netflix debut) shared her excitement about playing Sudha, a bold and fiercely independent divorce lawyer who refuses to compromise on who she is.
Mahima Makwana spoke about her character Preeti, who represents a quieter, mature side of love that heals and stays.
