Overview: Ikka is a  uneven but highly entertaining courtroom potboiler.

Storyline:The story revolves around Arjun Mehra (Sunny Deol), a celebrated  and highly successful defense lawyer.  He is Married to Avantika ( Dia Mirza)  and have a 12 year old daughter samaira ,   On the other hand  Shauryaman Gaur ( Akshay Khanna )  A  privileged, manipulative . internally  Arjun knows that Sharyaman is guilty , but thereafter , Arjun faces a massive ethical dilemma when a sudden family emergency involving his daughter’s health forces him to compromise on his strict values. To secure what his family desperately needs, he is blackmailed or pushed into defending Shauryaman Making the battle lines even messier,  when the ttraial begins , the prosecution lawyer

Madhura Banerjee  (Tilotima Shome) who is  a simple but intelligent lawyer , what follows in the court unfolds, life-altering secrets surface, many twists takes place and the  climax has a biggest surprise this all forms crux of the movie

Technical Review: Director Siddarth .P.Malhotra has presented a  well-crafted spiral of  the story who’s the hero and who’s the villain, and until the very end you are constantly bewildered about who can be trusted. The first half builds incredible momentum. Watching an inherently good man forced to use the very underhanded legal tricks

The script by Althea Kaushal and Mayank Tewari falters heavily post-interval. The investigative plot relies on incredibly convenient tropes—last-minute surprise witnesses and shocking video evidence that miraculously appear just when Arjun needs them.

The climax attempts a massive “trick ending” to keep Sunny’s character entirely vindicated,

Performances: Sunny Deol delivers a performance that subverts expectations. While he occasionally slams tables, he portrays a much more restrained, internally panicked father wrestling with immense guilt. It is a fascinating nod to his iconic Damini days, but with a vulnerable twist.

Akshaye Khanna channels his signature twitchy, menacing energy following his dhurandaar look , He makes Shauryamann a deeply repulsive yet utterly captivating antagonist. The scenes where the two lock horns behind closed doors

Tillotama Shome shines as Madhura Banerjee, public prosecutor fighting uphill against Arjun.

Dia Mirza & Sanjeeda Shaikh: Sincere in their respective parts, but given very little to do besides looking worried or sad in the background

Final Words : Ikka is effectively a high-stakes Bollywood courtroom drama from twenty-five years ago wrapped in a shiny 2026 streaming package.  But Confrontstions between Sunny &Akshay are worth watching
