Overview: Mercy is a Screenlife sci-fi film set in the near (imminent) future, where the justice system has been replaced by AI.
As per the rule If the accused cannot prove his innocence, by way of a plethora of screens and technology, within that time period, he or she will be executed in the chair they are strapped to. The AI judges of the Mercy Courts make decisions based on biometric analysis and evidence. What could go wrong?

Storyline:As “Mercy” movie opens, Detective Chris Raven (Chris Pratt) , wakes up in a Mercy courtroom, strapped to the killing chair in a digital lock.He hears the sound of a Mercy Courts soon meets Judge Maddox (Rebecca Ferguson), who appears on a large screen to inform him he has 90 minutes to prove that he didn’t murder his estranged wife, Nicole (Annabelle Wallis). Known for having a hot temper and accused of breaking his sobriety within the past year, Raven scrambles to clear his mind and grasp the details. He’s able to reach out to his freind Rob Nelson (Chris Sullivan), L.A.P.D. partner, Jacqueline “Jaq” Diallo (Kali Reis, ), and his 16-year-old daughter, Britt (Kylie Rogers), to acquire details that can exonerate him. Judge Maddox is there to hear his side and assist him with finding facts, which means tapping into phone records, video recordings, various camera feeds, and computer systems. If he can’t lower his 98.6% guilt rating to around 92% within the set timeframe, Raven will be executed.
Will Raven be able to lower his guilt ratings and how the investigation takes place virtual world , all this forms the crux of the film.

Technical Review,: Director Timur Bekmambetov has been championing the subgenre, having produced Unfriended, Searching, and War of the Worlds (2025), and having directed Profile (2018). He has called Screenlife a “new film language” for the internet era, one that offers creative freedom due to its relatively lower cost and flexibility

The Director has used Vfx to its best , The technology is too good and audience can enjoy the technology and the twists and turns of virtual investigation which will keep audience on the edge of their seats

Final Words : It’s fully technology driven so interesting movie especially for Indian Audience
