Directed By: Johannes Roberts

Star Cast : Kevin McNally, Johnny Sequoyah, Troy Kotsur, Jessica Alexander, Kae Alexander, Gia Hunter

Overview: A group of friends’ tropical vacation turns into a terrifying, primal tale of horror and survival.

Storyline : Primate” stars Johnny Sequoyah as Lucy, a young woman returning home to Hawaii with her friends Kate (Victoria Wyant) and Hannah (Jessica Alexander). Lucy’s mother died last year, so she ran off to the mainland to avoid her troubles, leaving her sister Erin (Gia Hunter) and deaf novelist father Adam (Oscar winner Troy Kotsur) to grieve alone

The family also has a pet chimpanzee, Ben, who learned to communicate via iPad from Lucy’s mother. When she died, Ben came to live with them.
Now that Lucy’s back, everyone’s happy. So while Adam is away at a book signing, they settle in for a night of revelry in their completely isolated house in hawaii
Things take a bad turn when Ben is bitten by a mongoose , who was infected by rabies , hence as Ben is bitten, rabies transfer’s in him , he becomes voilent and takes a nasty bite out of Erin, Lucy and her friends get stuck inside of a swimming pool. Chimpanzees can’t swim, so they’re kinda safe, but Ben just sits there, staring at them, waiting to strike as soon as they try to leave. Adam has taken the sample of mongoose to town  for testing in lab , he comes to know that the mongoose was infected by rabies but as per Adam there is no rabies in Hawaii ,

While Lucy  try to works the problem but  Ben periodically slaughters these poor kids in shocking displays of graphic violence.  Will Lucy and any of her friends will survive this  terror and will Adam reach on time All this forms crux of the film

Technical Review: Primate is one of the most vicious mainstream studio pictures in a long time.

One of the biggest things going for Primate is its ability to blend classic animal attack horror with slasher elements

The Cgi of the ape is so real  that it will haunt the audience and background score is equally terrifying

The film’s tight runtime and uncomplicated, visceral storytelling don’t give the audience mind any opportunity to wander.

Final Words: It’s a horror movie that will blow your mind
