Overview : A Story of Love and Emotional Bonding between Brother and sister , wherein the elder sister goes to dangerous extent to save his brother.
Storyline : The story begins with Satya (Alia Bhat) and Ankur (Vedang Raina) , who are brother and sister , the story begins with flashback as young Satya and her younger brother Ankur are returning home from school only to find their father commit suicide from the balcony , Satya hides her brother from the disturbing scene , that forms the foundation of their bonding , they been orphaned , have to stay with a Distant Relative who is a rich business man , they grow up and post that Satya works as their House Keeper but her brother feels at home . his best friend is Uncle’s Son Kabir . Satya is not comfortable with Ankur’s and Kabir’s Friendship, One day both Ankur and Kabir go to foreign country for a business pitch , there Ankur is made a scapegoat and framed for possessing drugs which actually was Kabir’s , but Ankur is framed and he is sentenced to death penalty as law of that country which is fictionally named as Hachi Dao , is very vigilant and no drug peddler is spared , Satya comes to know about this , She reaches Hachi Dao and leaves no stone unturned to save her brother , when the law fails to help her , she is determined to go to any extent to save her brother , she befriends with fellow allies who have their loves ones trapped in the same prison , Satya Along with her team plans an prison break pl which is too risky as the prison in which Ankur and others are kept is impenetrable , on the other hand even Ankur along with other 3 inmates plan to escape but the plan backfires leading to their death sentence being prepones , letter informing the same is sent to Satya , She vigouously plan to reach her brother for that even if she has to plant a bomb she is ready for that , from thereon too dangerous steps are involved in prison break , which forms the crux of the movie.
Technical Review : Director Vasan Bala has very well directed the movie , each sequence , whether it is action or sibling bonding is shot beautifully , The action sequences and the climax are too thrilling , it will grip the audience to their seats . Songs from Amitabh Bachchan Movie Zanjeer play in the background are good relief in this intense movie . The story is gripping and thrilling till the end.,The climax is much more gripping leaving you in awe.
Performances : Alia Bhatt is too good , she is lady Bachchan playing angry young girl instead of angry young man , her protective mode to rescue her brother is too good to be missed , her anxious mood is detected when she gobbles up all the food on the pair plane and her fearless mood when she plans prison break are too good . Vedang Raina Shines throughout the movie, the actor is brilliant in scenes when he faces police brutality and painful anxiety of being unfairly framed for death penalty .Manoj Pahwa is too good especially in climax he has given brilliant performance.
Final Words : The film is excellent and not to be missed
