Overview : A Story of formation of low cost airline based on true story of Air Deccan Airlines
Storyline : The story is set in small village of Maharashtra where Vir Mhatre (Akshay Kumar) is seen creating ruckus for having mail train stops at their village , his father is a freedom fighter due to his efforts electricity had come in their village but after a gap of many years, but there is lots of differences between father and son , Vir leaves the house , opening credit shows Rani ( Radhika Madan) alongwith family cmg to meet Vir for marriage proposal , Vir has rejected many girls but he says yes to Rani , Rani who is totally free spirited girl says no ,she tells him She wants to open a bakery and Vir has an idea, a dream to open a lost cost airline so the casteism barrier is broken and each person can afford to fly .once they achieve their goal if they are still single then would think about getting maŕried 3 years down the line Rani did achieve her goal but Vir was still struggling for his , though he has bexone a trained air force officer , they both get married , and with her support Vir tries to achieving his goal , but he faces lots of difficult situations ,
he meets with opposition galore, including from airline magnates, bank officials and people who support the big names in aviation and want to bring him down
The path of his ambition comes with setbacks, humiliation and demoralizing happenings, but he strides on, bravely taking everything in his stride and moving on , the consequences that he faces even after his planes are launched all these hurdles forms the crux of the movie
Technical Review : Director Sudha Kongra has very well directed the movie , its based on story of air deccan which was low cost airline that operated in 2003 , its story of its founder Mr Gopinath .Maharashtrain dailect are used at proper points , The director has presented this bio pic in a very different way maki g it interesting at every point .It will keep the audience hooked to your seat .
Performances : Akshay Kumar is at his best ,after a row full of flops , this will be master piece of his career , Entire movie is on his shoulders .Radhika Madan is too good to be missed ,She is impeccable as the strong woman of substance who is often the despair of her parents but is morally supported by her maternal uncle
.Others are good as per their role
Final Words : After a long time a good movie with good content and performances is releasing , a must watch
