Storyline:The story kicks off as Carol Danvers a.k.a. Captain Marvel (Brie Larson) is alerted by Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) that there has been a strange surge in the galaxy’s interstellar travel system. She discovers that an old foe named Dar-Benn (Zawe Ashton) has begun executing a dangerous, multi-world threatening touch points which can lead to some bizarre consequences. When Carol reaches out to touch a jump point that Dar-Benn has broken, she suddenly finds that her powers have become entangled with those of two others: Captain Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) and New Jersey teenager Kamala Khan a.k.a. Ms. Marvel (Iman Vellani).The earthly name of Ms Marvel is Kamala Khan. She is a schoolgirl from suburban New Jersey who happens to have superpowers, much to the amazement of her parents, who are played for (steadily dwindling) laughs by Zenobia Shroff and Mohan Kapur.
Whenever the three heroes use their abilities at the same time, they find themselves swapping places around the universe, .But Carol and both Monica , Kamala need to work together to save the earth from deadly touch points that realises energy that can destroy the earth. There alis a back story too with emotional attachments While Monica used to idolize Carol when she was a young girl, those emotions took a big hit when Captain Marvel left Earth in the mid-1990s and never came back. In contrast, Kamala is Carol’s no 1 fan and is perpetually blissed-out that she is on an adventure with her favorite superhero. Unable to get untangled, the three women team up to try and stop Dar-Benn’s plans, and in the process carol’s past negligence dye to which dar -,benn’s kingdom suffers fro no air , water and diminishing sun which becomes the reason of this agony and battle .
Technical Review : I must admit that the 105 minutes of The Marvels passed rather quickly, between a well-choreographed action scene and some comic gimmicks . Nia DaCosta’s direction tries to put the various pieces together in a coherent manner, even if her screenplay, written in collaboration with Megan McDonnell and Elissa Karasik, sometimes handles some passages that could have been explored in depth .
In the end, we understand the hatred that the Kree warrior feels towards Danvers, and the reasons that pushed the Avenger to act in that way are explained A few more minutes to tell what happened in the last 4 years of Captain Marvel’s life could have given much more depth to the antagonist and to the whole plot, which loses a bit of bite in the ending after the fun beginning. Visually the movie is brilliant and costumes are great.
Performances : Iman Vellani as kamala khan has stole the full limelight with her strong and at tge same time comic performance , others are good as per their role
Final Words : Its entertaining and fast paced movie that u can enjoy with your family this festive season
