The makers of ‘Shakuntalam’, on Thursday released the second trailer of the highly anticipated movie they a 3D trailer, showcasing a visually stunning 1-minute and 34-second clip featuring lead actors Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Dev Mohan. At the event Samantha, Dev Mohan, Director Gunasekhar, Producers Dil Raju and Neelima Guna and Costume Designer Neeta Lulla were present .
Samantha Ruth Prabhu is one of the biggest names down South. But, thanks to her dance number in Pushpa and The Family Man season 2, she is also gearing up for indian version of citadel , the actress has slowly making a mark in the Hindi sector as well. , at the trailer launch event while talking about the roles that she is doing now, Samantha said, “I feel very privileged with the kind of roles that I am doing right now. At Citadel shoot everyday it is exhilarating work; it’s so fulfilling, I am so happy. It’s tough but it’s so fulfilling for a woman to be doing action and to not have the hero being saving her all the time. So, it’s great and it’s a new phase for me and I am absolutely enjoying it.”
Samantha also spoke about how her life has changed after becoming a pan-India star. She said, “Honestly, I don’t think it has changed. I am a star till 6 pm, after that I am extremely normal, and nothing has changed in my head at

Malayalam actor Dev Mohan is making his Telugu debut in “Shakuntalam”. He opened up about his chemistry with lead actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
He is playing the lead role of Dushyant alongside Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the titular film . At the event, Dev Mohan opened up about his chemistry with Samantha. He started off by saying, “I want to thank the big team that is behind Shakuntalam and for me, it is a dream debut. We shot in Telugu and it is my first pan-India film. I did it with Sam. So, I am so so happy about that. It was a great learning experience.”

Shakuntalam is a slated to release on 14th April 2023. In Tamil , Telugu , And Hindi It will be released in 3D as well.
