Overview : Max, Min & Meowzaki is a warm, gentle, and deeply perceptive “slice-of-life” family drama.

Storyline:The story begins with a voice actor/rock singer Max (Siddharth Menon) and his filmmaker girlfriend Min (Medha Shankr) dividing their things from a shared apartment as they part ways. The split leaves Max nursing a broken heart while grappling with the recent loss of his mother, Vasudha. Min leaves behind their cat, Meowzaki (named after their shared love for Japanese animator Hayao Miyazaki). Max reluctantly looks after Meowzaki (despite a severe cat allergy)
Max stays in his grandmother’s place whereas his father stays in his apartment, Max meets his father Ramesh ( Adil Hussain) every Sunday for breakfast reluctantly as his father wants him to join his business whereas Max prefers music as his grandfather is a carnatic singer .
His Grandfather, Sridhar (Nassar), a renowned Carnatic singer resides in an assisted living facility, All 3 men stay separately.Ramesh is devasted after his wifes death , he is unable to sleep he
begins seeking therapy from Dhaara (Mandira Bedi) to confront his loneliness, guilt, and ingrained patriarchy.

Max hires a cat-sitter named Carol (Vidhatri Bandi) , He learns to navigate grief, dating, and independence with Carol’s help.
On the other hand grand father Shridhar companionship with Carol’s grandmother, Jennifer (Nafisa Ali)

Together, all three men single at the same time for the first time in their lives—slowly unlearn past mistakes and heal.

Technical Review : The director has
captured heavy topics like grief, toxic gender norms, Islamophobia, generation gap differences emotional distance, and mental health in a dignified way .
The sensitivity of relationship is shown in a very Suttle way without over hype and melodrama .

Performances: Adil Hussain delivers a standout performance as the flawed, conservative father struggling with self-acceptance and regret.
Siddharth Menon captures Max’s vulnerability and growth gracefully,

Mandira Bedi, Nassar, Nafisa Ali, and Vidhatri Bandi ground the story in warmth.
Their presence provided the necessary warmth and lightness to the story

Final Words : Max, Min & Meowzaki feels like a warm cup of coffee on a rainy day. It asks real, uncomfortable questions about family and relationships, but answers them with immense empathy and heart.
