Review Of Movie Bharat Bhagya Vidhata – An Emotional Tribute To 26/11 Attacks

Director: Manoj Tapadia

Cast: Kangana Ranaut, Girija Oak Godbole, Smita Tambe, Rasika Agashe, Asha Shelar

Overview:Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata is a movie that  is inspired by true events primaithe real life bravery of nurse Anjali Kulthe

Storyline :  The film is set when Mumbai witnessed terror attacks at cst station , Taj palace , Leopold Cafe and even Cama Hospital was also the target

The film centers around Geeta Madhav (played by Kangana Ranaut) and her fellow nursing staff

They are balancing mundane government hospital routines, family dynamics, and lighthearted bondings  together  , for aGeeta and her fellow nursing staff motto is to protect all patients under any circumstances, for them duty comes first that’s the spirit of the team.Until Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists infiltrate the hospital campus. Now is the time for them to prove that duty is first , With 20 pregnant women under their direct care and 400 patients to protect , and bullets flying down the corridors, the nurses must navigate a pitch-black hospital under siege to protect their patients  , lead by Geeta , this forms the crux of the film

Technical Review : Director Manoj Tapadia , tries  to balance a gritty survival thriller with emotional human drama.

The first half an is slow and requires patience as day to day activity of nurses and patients in a natural way , the second half transforms completely to the terrifying, shadowed, silhouette-heavy second half (where the hospital lights are  off to hide from terrorists)  this transformation is  technically flawless and builds genuine suspense.

But the screenplay lacks any volume as what really happened at that time is not properly executed.

Performances: Kangana Ranaut: Playing Geeta, delivers a restrained and mature performance while she sidesteps melodramatic bravery, bringing quiet strength, compassion, and vulnerability to the screen. While her Maharashtrian accent feels a little inconsistent initially, she quickly finds a firm grip on it.

Unlike many star-driven biopics, this film gives ample room to its supporting cast. Smita Tambe, Girija Oak, Rasika Agashe, and Esha Dey turn in stellar, natural performances as the brave nursing staff, anchoring the film’s emotional core.

Final Words : Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata is a movie that functions best as an emotional tribute rather than a tight, elite action thriller. I
