Review Of Movie Hain Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai- A Chaotic Comedy Storyline

Star Cast: Varun Dhawan, Pooja Hegde, Mrunal Thakur, Jimmy Sheirgill, Maniesh Paul

Director: David Dhawan

Overview : A comedy roller coaster

Storyline : The story revolves around Jass (Varun Dhawan)  who is a wedding photographer , he gets married to bani ( Mrunal Thakur)  but bani has filed for divorce food due to weird reason  that Jas  loves her too much and he always try to get physical  , plus she wants to focus on her career , on tlhe  other hand jas has his own reason as he wants to be a father all this reasoning is presented in front of the judge played by Ali Asghar , he  gives them 6 months  time before their divorce finalisation , on that night both Jas and Bani for last time enjoy their party sharty and then move on , Jas moves to London where he meets Preet ( Pooja Hegde) , they both fall in love with each other and get intimate , Preet introduces him to his she introduces him to her trigger-happy brother, Jogi Randhawa (Jimmy Sheirgill), Brother warns Jass that if he ever dumps or deceives Preet, he will kill him.

Real twist comes when Bani comes back in Jass  life announcing her pregnancy, on the other hand even preet announces pregnancy to jas ,   both of them announces ,whole world falls upon jass  and he gets badly stuck in the situation

His ever-supportive best friend, Kunnu (Maniesh Paul), also comes to London to help out in the mess.

What follows is lots of twist and turns to hide both girls and their pregnancy that forms the crux of the film

Technical Review: David Dhawan is back to directing after 2020 and he is in his element giving nostalgic film journeys of 1990’s recreating songs like chunari chunari and dance and comedy at its best .

He has used many 90’s actors like Chunky pandey , Rakesh Bedi , Rajpal Yadav , johny lever to create comedy choas , the music is average cinematography is good but the screenplay lacks weight , director has focused more on comedy than the story .

Performances: Varun Dhawan is in his element with his father at the helm

he is goofy, shrewd, intense, and desperate as needed, all with great conviction.

Girls are ok and they are here for glam quotient

Jimmy Shergil is stern as ever

Others are ok as per their role

Final Words : It’s a light and comedy movie that will uplift your mood this weekend

Ratings : 3*/5*
