Shilpa Shetty Will Be Hosting Cooking Reality Show On Zee5 Whose Trailer Was Launched At Star Studded Event

The grand trailer launch event for Maa Hai Na took place yesterday, May 27, 2026. It was a star-studded affair attended by a mix of major Bollywood stars, television personalities, and digital creators. who are also contestants of the show

The star-studded event unveiled a unique, non-fiction comedy cooking show that swaps standard culinary stress for family-focused chaos.

Celebrity Gen Z kids and digital creators team up with their mothers (or fathers, in some cases) to tackle recipes. It centers heavily on the cultural clash between fast-paced Gen Z kitchen shortcuts and traditional motherly wisdom.

The show will be hosted by none others than Super Star Shilpa Shetty.

The event saw a massive gathering, including Manisha Rani, Tanya Mittal, Sunita Ahuja, Tina Ahuja, Urvashi Dholakia, and comedy icons Ali Asgar and Chandan Prabhakar

While families compete, comedians and TV personalities like Ali Asgar, Chandan Prabhakar, and Gaurav Kapoor step in as “disruptors” to throw in twists, raise the pressure, and keep the environment lively and unpredictable.

Speaking at the launch, Shilpa Shetty Kundra shared her excitement for the project: ​”The moment I watched the trailer of Maa Hai Na, it instantly reminded me of how emotional and chaotic kitchens can be in every Indian family. Maa Hai Na is not just about cooking; it’s about those little moments between a mother and child that we often take for granted. Like we believe in every Indian home, ‘Maa hai Na toh Sab possible hai!'”

The reality series will span 10 episodes.

Maa Hai Na is set to premiere and begin streaming officially on ZEE5 starting June 12, 2026.
