Overview : An Emotional Narrative that focuses on love and Art of Shayari

Storyline : The story is set in the era of 1998 Delhi ,when there was no source of communication and cell phones . It revolves around Nawabuddin Saifuddin Rehman Rizvi(Vijay Verma) who wants to save his father’s printing press , but his business is in ruins and to save the press, his brother Jumman (Rohan Verma) wants to sell the printing press if He doesn’t get an acclaimed shayer and print his book , through somewhere Nawabiddin comes to know about Aziz and acclaimed writer whose work he wants to publish , he some what gets his landline no and calls him , his daughter Minne ( Fatima Sana Sheikh) answer the call and tells him to come to Mallercot in Punjab , He reaches there and there then Minne tells him that her father is not interested in publishing his work , this gives a slight blow to Nawabbudin but he is determined to his cause , he meets Mr Aziz ( Naseeruddin Shah) and tells him that he is an amateur Shayer and wants him to be his mentor , from there on begins the journey of shayer i , art and culture and simultaneously romance brew between Nawabbudin and Minne , Will Nawabbudin be able to convince Azizji to print his work and what happens when Azizji realises his intentions all this forms the crux of the evening.

Technical Review : Directed by Vibhu Puri, the film succeeds almost instantly in transporting you to the 90s, thanks to the meticulous production design by Madhumita Sen and Ajay Sharma. It’s also designer Manish Malhotra’s production house Stage5’s theatrical debut, and his grip on the style and aesthetic is evident.

The first half is all about poetry and love which brews slowly and transform audience to feel good era minus the internet and social media .
The second half is all about Azizji’s past story and Nawaubbun power to convince Aziz to print his work , why Aziz dorstwant to print his work also is revealed.

The music by Vishal Bharadwaj is insync with theme of the movie

Performances: Vijay Verma is too good and plays his part with good conviction.

Fatima Sana Sheikh is looking good
Naseeruddin Shah is too good , giving his role his signature gravitas

Final Words : It’s will take you on a nostalgic journey of poetry and simple and feel good movie
