Review Of English Film Together – A Strange & Effective Horror Film

Overview: A couple’s move to the countryside triggers a supernatural incident that drastically alters their relationship, existence, and physical form

Storyline: The story revolves around an couple Millie ( Alison Brie) and Tim ( Dave Franc) , Mille is a teacher whereas Tim is into Music .Mille is successful but Tim is still struggling in his career, Due to her success Mille gets an opportunity to teach at a school in the country side , Tim reluctantly leaves the city to join in the country side , Mille well settled in her job but Tim is going through mid life crisis .The surroundings are good ,so Tim and Mille decide to go for hiking in the woods , unfortunately they get trapped in a hole , amidst a rain storm for the night , little did they know after this incident their life is about to change.
they begin to experience a series of strange and inexplicable and body horror events that threaten to either pull them closer together or tear them apart in ways neither could have predicted. ,Will the weird forces emotionally and physically tear them apart forever or they would stay together forms the crux of the movie

Technical Review : The Director has weaved the suspense, the body horror, the dreamlike weirdness, in a twisted layers over a fairly basic plot, which gives the film lots of room to maneuver and explore human relationships.The director has managed to make a simple story into an interesting and scary plot .The VFX are very good which is never shown before , scenes where bones are cracking are too scary to watch .Some intimate scenes are horrifying where the couple are stuck together where the audience can feel their pain in an attempt to separate

Performances : Both Actors Alison and Dave are brilliant in the movie

Final Words : It’s a unique blend of body horror, emotional intimacy, and dark comedy all thrown together into a film that has a strangely positive feel to it which can be enjoyed this weekend
