Storyline : After a very long gap freakier Friday reintroduce us to Psychiatrist Tess Coleman (Jamie Lee Curtis) and her daughter Anna (Lindsay Lohan) , the latter now herself a mother to teenager daughter Harper (Julia Butters)
Anna falls in love with professional Chef eric ( Manny Jacinto ) who also has a teenage daughter Lily (Sophia Hammons) Harper and Lilyn are in same college but they are each other’s rival , but when the wedding is announces Harper and Lily find themselves at constant odds , With entire family at an edge leading to d-day , Tess And Anna by chance happen to meet a physic , who tells them some things , which on the very next day materlise when both Tess and Anna discover they have switched bodies , Now literally both Tess and Anna have to literally fill each others shoes , How they navigate each other in this new situation and on the other hand both Harper and Lily taking advantage of the situation both of them conspire to end their upcoming wedding , How this situation will workout and will Tess , Anna , Harper And Lily come close or go far beyond forms the crux of the movie,

Technical Review : The director has given us a funnier movie , it fully capitalise on the chance to take generation gap storytelling of the first movie added with new gen z facet which makes this movie a delightful watch . The director has shown differences between Mother’s and daughter from old to new gen z generations are the same on the face of it but underneath when situations becomes tough All Mother’s and Daughter bond with each other , and this bond is stronger then ever that’s the highlight of the movie . Performances Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis chemistry is as captivating as ever bringing nostalgic yet fresh dynamic to the film , The addition of new cast including Julia Butters and Manny Jacinto has been well received contributing to the film’s overall charm.
