Overview: Tanvi The Great is a story of love, resilience, and the indomitable spirit of a young girl who, against all odds, transforms hope into triumph.
Storyline : The story begins with Vidya ( Pallavi Joshi ) who Is An expert in Autistic field her daughter is also Autistic Tanvi ( Surabhi Dutt) , Vidya has to go on a project to Newyork for 9 months , She drives her daughter from Delhi to Lansdowne where Tanvi’s grandfather Colonel Raina (;Anupam Kher) A ritered army officer , so that tanvi can stay with her grandfather , Colonel Raina though at first xkeptical about Tanvi’s situation, but gradually learns and adapts to hervway of thinking and living , The story takes a sharp turn when Tanvi comes across Videos of her matrayed Father Army Officer (Karan Tacker) expressing his dream of reaching the peak of Siachen Mountain and salute the national flag at Siachen. Seeing those videos, Tanvi decides to join Indian Army to fulfill her father’s dream .She joins Major’s Shrinivasan’s ( Arvind Swamy) training camp, Major tells her to go back but when he comes to know she is daughter of His buddy who had saved his life during military operation.He trains her but as per the rules she is rejected in the selection at army camp due to her autism , but her determination and will power is intact but will she succeed and how forms the crux of the movie
Technical Review : Anupam Kher has very well directed the movie ,he has made this movie with heart and soul and balanced emotions .He also spreads the message that Autism is not a disease but it’s a state where the person is different but they are not less , Such people determination and will power is stronger than any normal person.
The music is good . Cinematography of the movie is brilliant which makes all the difference in watching the movie.
Performances : Shubhangi Dutt has played her character wholeheartedly. She hasn’t just played the character, but lived it. Her every emotion touches you deeply.
Anupam Kher is a legend he has portrayed his role in a simple and honest way as a strict grandfather at beginning and gradually he manages to become dadu to tanvi from Colonel Raina
Pallavi Joshi , Jackie Shroff ,Boman Irani And Arvind Swamy leave their mark in their individual role.
Final Words : Tanvi: The Great’ is not just a story about autism or the army, but it’s a story about relationships, dreams, courage and determination .A must watch for all
