Star cast: Tom Cruise, Hayley Atwell, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Henry Czerny, and Angela Bassett
Director: Christopher McQuarrie
Overview : The Last Film in the franchisee of Mission Impossible , is an immersive action – adventure experience.

Storyline : The previous movie in this entity where it ended , this is the sequel to that.
The Final Reckoning picks up some time after Ethan Hunt ( TomCruise) and his team (Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, and Hayley Atwell) claimed the two cruciform keys from Gabriel (Esai Morales). The Entity has taken control of much of the planet, destroying economies and technology, and is taking steps to take over the world’s nukes as well. To stop it, Hunt and team need to get the source code for The Entity, hidden in sunken Russian sub, The Sevastopol, as well as a “poison pill” to destroy it. From thereon Many thrilling Action sequences take place that forms the crux of the movie.

Technical Review : From a setpiece and action sequence standpoint, the 8th film in the franchise continues to stun with the many edge-of-your-seat moments throughout the film, whether it’s the aerial dog fight in the skies, the submarine diving trip or the countless bombs that need disabling, the director spared nothing in keeping Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning true to its now.
The underwater scenes are so thrilling, watching Tom Cruise escape insurmountable odds..
That plane sequence, along with the underwater heist/escape are well worth the price of an IMAX ticket. These are dangerous, planned, well coordinated stunts, and the crew and Cruise pull everything off perfectly.
Also The writers attempt to weave elements from past missions into the current narrative, bringing back several familiar faces which gives nostalgic feel

Performances :
Tom Cruise, of course, is playing Ethan in top form. He is too good even at the age of 62 , he does his own stunts which are a delight to watch . Pegg gives a much more somber, world-worn performance as Benji. Pom Klementieff does a really great job as Paris, showcasing a character evolving from a callous amoral killer to a compassionate member of the team. Although we barely get to know him, Greg Tarzan Davis ends up being pretty lovable as Degas. We are also treated to a fun performance from Tramell Tillman, who leaves the biggest impression out of the new cast members.
Final Words : Terrific sound design and visuals, as well as breathtaking cinematography that captures and immerses you into the grand global locations makes it a good imax theatrical watch.
