Review of Hindi Movie Outhouse – A heart warming story which is an ode to special moments of life

Overview : Its a Simple & multi layered story comprising traits of companionship, kindness, and the inner connections between humans and animals.

Storyline : The story is set in pune city and revolves around Aadima ( Sharmila Tagore) who takes care of her grandson ,Neel (Jihan Hodar) ,as Neel’s parents are away .Aadima is also a graphic designer who writes graphic cartoon stories .Their quiet life takes an unexpected turn when Neel’s beloved dog Pablo goes missing , Neel is devastating an want’s to find his dog at any cost. Meanwhile Pablo seeks refuge in the home of elderly neighbour’s home of Nana ( Mohan Agashe) .Nana is a reclusive man and very stubborn , he refuses to move to Mumbai with his son & daughter instead he prefers to stay alone .Nana’,s life gets disrupted when Pablo enters his flat , he slowly gets attached to him .On the other hand Neel and his grandmother decides to embark on an adventure complete with bond oo7 costume to find Pablo and take him home , this adventure turns into life changing incident not only theirs but Nana’s too how it does it do forms the crux of the movie 

Technical Review : Outhouse story is baked at a slow burner but it  excels in its simplicity, utilising quiet moments, subtle dialogues, and delicate visuals to evoke powerful emotions. Director puts across a msg that even elderly people have a right to live life as per their choice and can seek companionship as per their mind.

Performances :Sharmila Tagore shines as Aadima, portraying the character with warmth, wisdom, and a spark of mischievous curiosity

Mohan Agashe delivers a peefect performance as Nana, skilfully balancing his character’s initial gruffness with moments of vulnerability 

Final Words : Outhouse is a simple family oriented story with touch of humour  that can be enjoyed by Adults and Kids , a good weekend watch
