Overview : “Notre-Dame On Fire” captures the triumph of human spirit when one of Europe’s most loved monuments was burning. Storyline : On 15 April 2019 The Notre Dame Cathedral which is not only a landmark and a tourist attraction, it is a house of worship — and a very big ‘house’ at that.Incredibly, it was the first day of work for the man whose job was to monitor an ageing panel designed to warn of telltale smoke in the edificea .On his first day of duty only he witnessed an fire alarm , he informed the security personnel about it ,Security personnel checked out an alarm at 6:17 p.m. and gave the all-clear after worshippers had been evacuated. Unfortunately, when people were invited back in to continue the mass, the fire really was taking hold, invisibly, over their heads since the wrong spot had been checked. fire started smouldering in the cathedral But nobody alerted the fire department. The timber from 1300 ancient tree trunks in a configuration known as The Forest had survived for centuries but was now doomed.. There is an 850-year-old ready-made movie star with an international following and a really persistent villain in the form of spreading flames. But by the time the fire brigade and other authorities were informed the fire had spread to an alarming level.As the fire brigade reached at the spot ,though the cathedral was evacuated but intrepid heroes were , asked to save the structural integrity of ancient stones. and also the Cathedral contains priceless religious relics — a crown of thorns believed to be the original from the Crucifixion and a nail from the True Cross. Sensibly, they are securely locked up — but who has the key? It was very challenging as the staircase that lead to top of cathedral tower were 2 narrow with other side already on fire ,the rest of the movie delivers a thriller infused with genuine suspense because the fire fighters have no idea whether they will succeed or if the building, weakened by heat and water, will collapse, taking them — and possibly a lot of nearby structures with it .
Technical Review: “Notre-Dame On Fire” captures the triumph of human spirit when one of Europe’s most loved monuments was burning., the makers have managed to weave actual real life footage of the fire into many sequence.
Performances: Performance of each and every character is so real as if they are real fire fighters.
Final Words : While all of us witnessed the fire, very few of us know about the strong, brave and miraculous rescue operations that ensued. A story of courage surviving amidst heartbreaking chaos,.A must watch movie in a theatre near you
