Director : Martin Campbell,
Star Cast :Liam Neeson, Monica Bellucci, Guy Pearce and Ray Stevenson
Overview :A slick action-thriller that is an illusion

Storyline : Memory is a remake of a 2003 Belgian crime thriller, “De zaak Alzheimer,” based on the book by Jef Geeraerts. Neeson plays Alex Lewis, the hard core assassin with Alzheimer’s, who’s getting out of the game after one last gig. When he discovers one of his intended victims is a teenage girl, a victim of sex trafficking by her father (who was accidentally killed in an FBI raid), Alex not only backs out, he decides to go after everyone who hired him to kill the girl in the first place.
Simultaneously, the film follows the FBI agent from the raid, Vincent Serra (Pearce), who now feels guilty about killing the girl’s father and leaving her stuck in a detention center, about to be deported to Mexico. But Vincent’s got a lot more on his plate, as Alex the assassin is on a killing spree around El Paso, working his way up a sex-trafficking food chain that leads to the top of a Texas corporate real estate firm, headed by Monica Bellucci. She’s playing a Real Estate Magnate named Davana Sealman, who hired Alex through a middleman to cover up evidence of her son’s terrible wrongdoings with minor girls and getting killed all his victims.
Vincent eventually has to try to stop Alex, although it’s clear that he has some empathy for Alex’s motives if not his methods. Alex, meanwhile, is trying to get the job done before he is completely overwhelmed by the Alzheimer’s-related dementia that has begun to diminish his cognitive capacity..With a ruthless FBI agent on his trail and age not on his side, what happens next forms the crux of the thrilling tale
Technical Review : Memory has a decent director and a great cast but still the movie lacks a good script .The plot goes round and round with Alex and his assignment and Vincet and his Fellow Fbi agents going round and round to bust the sex trafficing racket , It looks like we are watching Crime patrol multiple stories at a time , The screenplay is too flat . Action sequences are badly directed .
Apart from the enigmatic Neeson, “Memory” also features a pedigreed assortment of other Hollywood talents right from Matrix star Monica Bellucci, Iron Man 3’s Guy Pearce and Thor: Ragnarok fame Ray Stevenson. But due to lack of good script and screenplay they have not much to perform.
Final Words : Though its an action movie but it fails to thrill the audience. A once watch movie
Ratings :2.5*/5*
