Netflix has always delivered some of the best content to its subscribers. The upcoming movie Thar, which features Anil Kapoor, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Satish Kaushik, Harshvardhan Kapoor, and Jitendra Joshi, has been the talk of the town ever since the first look and the posters were out.
Today, the trailer of the movie was finally launched during a press conference in Mumbai. It was attended by the cast of the movie. Thar as the name suggest is set up in desert of rajasthan is quiet a rustic and rugged movie as the trailer reveals .
Talking about the movie, Anil Kapoor said that it is the young talent and their passion that attracted him to take up this project. It was an educative journey for him, and when his son Harshvardhan Kapoor pitched the script to him, he loved it and want it to be part of it.
Both Anil Kapoor and Satish Kaushik will be seen again in Thar , theirs is a hit team.
Sharing his views, Satish Kaushik said that it was a great experience shooting with these such talented people. It was indeed a great experience collaborating with one of his closest friends, Anil Kapoor.
At the event, Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor was asked if he gets nervous while performing with his father, Anil Kapoor. To this, Harsh Varrdhan said, “I think the ice was broken between us in Vikramaditya Motwane’s film AK vs AK. We shot for the film for two to three days. I had a smaller role in the film. And that was quite an extroverted character I was playing in the film . The ice was broken there. So by the time we got to Thar, so much time had been spent. I try and focus on my job and not get overwhelmed by the situation or who else in the film.”
Sana Sheikh that she is playing a simple character in the film , of a village girl which is quiet different from the characters that she has played so far .
Thar is Directed by Raj Singh Chaudhary, starring Anil Kapoor and Harsh Vardhen Kapoor, the film features Satish Kaushik, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Jitendra Singh in lead roles
Thar releases on Amazon Prime Video on 6th May .
