Storyline : The Story is set in Nagpur city of Maharashtra where Vijay Borade ( Amitabh Bachchan) football coach of a prestigious college he is on the brink of retirement .He observes that bunch of boys from neighbouring slums playing football with a plastic barrell on a rainy day, it dawns upon him that he can channelize their hidden talent in the right direction and escape them from iilegal activities right from chain-snatching to selling illegal liquor. When not smoking drugs, some of them indulge in gambling and pick up nasty street .

From thereon begins series of matches , upto national level and going upto international level .In the process, the kids discover their life goals and try to become better human beings. But will the society on the other side accept them is the point to think over.

Technical Review : Director Nagraj Manjule has debuted in main stream bollywood movie..He had shown very intimately the life of slum dwellers , where crime and other illegal activities are part of everyday life.He raises some pertinent questions on social injustice in the guise of a sports drama.
Though the film is too long , first half a bit fast paced but second little slow but catches up towards the end..
Performances : Nagraj Manjule, has not presented the legendary actor in a larger-than-life avatar , a super hero but he is given a role to underplay and easily blend in the world of Vijay Borade.Amitji has brilliantly done his job and blended well in their world.
Ankush Gedam as Ankush Mehshram aka Don, one of the central characters in the film, delivers an impressive performance.
The rest of the cast including Babu Chhetri, Saylii Patil, Rehann Sheikh, Arbaj Sheikh, Angel Anthony and others perform with confidence. Kishor Kadam and Chhaya Kadam act their parts well. Sairat fame Akash Thosar and Rinki Rajguru are good in their respective cameos.
Final Words : Jhund talks about breaking the societal walls and extending hands to help the downtrodden so they can leap onto the brighter side.Nagraj Manjule’s latest outing succeeds more when it is soaked in realism to hit you hard in the gut. A Must Watch
