Overview : The Movie shows that true love can be found even in weirdest situation too.
Storyline: Marriage is merely ’til death do us part; what about sharing an actual eternity? That’s the fateful loop Nyles (Andy Samberg) finds himself stuck in a sort of sun-baked metaphysical rom-com and millennial Groundhog Day rolled into one.
Technically Nyles is only a plus-one at the wedding of his girlfriends best freind at Palm Springs , which makes it that much odder that he seems so comfortable wearing a sloppy Hawaiian shirt to the ceremony, or commandeering the mic when the bride’s sister Sarah (Cristin Milioti) slow-walks her maid of honor speech.
Soon, though, we know why: Nyles has already been here many, many times before. Thanks to some trick of fate or quantum physics, he’s trapped in a wormhole that continually sends him back to this same cursed Saturday — and when Sarah unwittingly follows him into the breech, she too gets stuck with him in that time whirlpool. But stuck in that time frame they do discover true love for each other , unfortunately it will not take them anywhere until and unless they find a way to get out of this curse.Sarah has to find out the hard way just stranded they really are.

Palm Springs is a funny, lively, spirited and enjoyable film that overcomes it’s weidest moments through likeable characters, charming stars and some clever handling of twists-and-turns along the way. Destined to be a cult comedy hit, it’s definitely not for everyone but makes a worthwhile distraction and the breezy 90 minute voyage into the jaded realm of “romcoms” comes with a fresh and funny angle.
It has won The Best Comedy Film at Las Vegas Film Critic Society Awards 2021, Best Movie and Best Comedy Movie – IGN Summer Movie Awards 2020 and Best Comedy – Broadcast Film Critics Association Awards 2021
