Overview : Jungle Cruise is a lighthearted adventure movie fulfilling all your Jungle fantasies.
Story line : In the 16th century, Spanish conquistador Aguirre (Edgar Ramirez) and his crew arrived in the Amazon looking for the Tears of the Moon, a mythical tree whose petals have incredible healing properties. When the tribe whose job it was to keep the tree hidden refused to show it to him, he burns the village down and dies trying to find it himself ,Flash forward in 1916, the story finds intrepid English botanist Lily Houghton (Blunt) steals the arrow head from british head quarters which is believed to be the key to the Tree petal , so she and her cowardly brother MacGregor (Jack Whitehall) heading to Brazil to seek the legendary Tears Of The Moon petals that are said to have extraordinary healing powers. Lily needs a boat to take her down the river, and that brings her into contact with Frank Wolff (Dwayne Johnson), a fast-talking captain who offers his broken-down vessel. Our heroes aren’t the only ones looking for these petals, however: an eccentric and demented German named Joachim (Jesse Plemons) wants them to secure his homeland’s victory in the Great War.From there onwards starts a roller coaster journey where in Lily goes on to unwinding mystical sights and truths of the legend followed by attacks by the German officer , he uses both super natural powers and physical powers to reach to the tree and stealing the arrow head…What happens next is for the audience to watch.
Technical Review : Technically it’s a brilliant movie ..The Amazon Jungle unwinds in front of you . The first half of the picture has
Submarine torpedoes which are narrowly averted! Jungle vines are swung on!! A leopard literally starts a ballroom brawl!!!
The second half has supernatural powers , mystical jungle unwind in front of you .
The fun part is the chemistry between Lily and Frank which is very entertaining..
Performances : Emily Blunt as Lily is Brilliant in her role ..She is fearless and daring.
Dwayne Johnson is both funny and charming.
Final Words : With it’s best Vfx and cinematography, added bonus chemistry between the main characters and fasr paced script makes movie enjoyable and entertaining…It is best to watch on the big screen..A fantastic theatrical experience will leave you mesmerized
