Overview : The concept between Love Aaj Kal and Love Aaj Kal 2020 is on the same line with some modifications.
Storyline: Raj aka Raghu (Randeep Hooda) is a Cafe owner in Delhi and also runs a co working space in his cafe. Zoe (Sara Ali Khan) and Veer Meet at his cafe…Zoe is career oriented girl who has her life totally planned for herself …Whereas Veer is the guy who still believes that true love does exist …Zoe just wanna have fun with Veer but Veer has a mindset for true love only..Raj helps Zoe with her love life, He narrates his story when in 1990 he had fallen in love with Leena , how he used to stare at her in her balcony..Leena’s parents comes to know about it and they shift to Delhi …Raj too leaves his medical college and his home to chase leena .But after reaching Delhi Raj’s life takes a sharp turn ..With each of the incident Raj narrates, he brings in some notable changes in the couple’s life. It’s about how stories from both the eras have one thing in common ‘a knotty maze’ which aids the characters to define their version of love. Will Raj be able to bring some prominent change in lives of Veer and Zoe …Will Zoe who is tangled in career and love which is more prominent for her she is unable to decode…Veer is adamant on his stake as he wants Zoe full with mind and heart .rest is for the audience to watch
Script Analysis & Director Review : The script is nothing new …Imitiaz Ali had yet again given us a love story presented in a tangled knot..
Performances : Kartik Aryan is totally lost in the movie .. He has acted ghost chasing the girl nonstop.
Sara Ali khan in her quest to perform nicely has overreacted in the movie ..Randeep Hooda has played the best part ..He looks good too
