Overview :Humorous take on how forced sterilization affected so many people at the time when emergency was declared in India.
Storyline : The story is narrated by a Shukranu aka sperm . Shukranu is based in the era when Emergency was declared in India .and people were forced to go in for Nasbandi/sterilization.
Inder.( Devyandu) is working in Delhi in a factory as a supervisor…He shares his room with a freind …In their freetime both of them peek at girls studying in nearby college ..Bittu falls for Akriti ( Sheetal Thakur) who belongs to a prestigious family of wrestlers… But His parents in the village fixed his marriage …He reluctantly accepts it …On his way to his village an untoward incident happens , he is forcibly taken by govt official to hospital for sterilization/nasbandi…His world falls apart but he couldn’t say anything to his family and gets married to Shweta Basu …
Thereafter the movie showcases how Divyenndu (Inder) how sterilization and how haunts him. Thereon, he finds himself constantly in a spot trying to salvage the situation. In a mental flux, he is unable to associate with his newlywed wife (Shweta Basu Prasad aka Reema) and is seen escaping cozy moments with her. Divyenndu then finds an emotional escape, when he again gets attracted to Akriti and has an extramarital affair with her. .Thereafter a major twist happens which is for the audience to watch.
Script Analysis: The script is perfectly punctuated with situational comedy and is sure to create a laugh riot! A slice of life story,
Performances : Devyendu has done a good job…He is actor par Excellence…His body language and his expressions are very well executed as per his character ..Shweta Basu is also good ..Sheetal Thakur looks beautiful
