Review of Movie Saaho

Overview : A visually appealing movie with a defective script.

Storyline: The story is set in In the fictitious Waaji City that’s dominated by gangsters, Roy’s (Jackie Shroff) group of companies are on shaky turf after his sudden death. An heir apparent shows up from nowhere but the power struggle continues. A black box hidden somewhere in Mumbai apparently holds the key to a locker, which will provide crucial answers to the power struggle.

Meanwhile the Mumbai Police is on the edge due to bank robbery which is conducted by common people without their knowledge that they are part of the bank robbery …A team is formed by Mumbai Police consisting of Amrita Nair (Shraddha Kapoor) , David ( Murali Sharma ) and some others…to be lead by under cover agent Ashok Chakraborty( Prabhas) who tells them that the thief is too smart he is most likely to know all their moves — he is smarter than the police who learns of things later. He makes a point of how the police has to think like a criminal to be a step ahead and nab a suspect. In this chase it is revealed that Prabhas is not a under cover agent but he has manipulated the police…On the other hand the whole of the gang group is chasing the black box including Prabhas whose real name is Saaho …What happens next , what is the connection between Saho and Roy and what is the secret of black box is for the audience to watch.

Script Analysis &Director Review : The script is too sluggish and badly written..The Director has totally made mess of the script …Too many characters and too much chase and fight sequences with no sense at all…The editing is too bad by A. Sreekar ..The film is too lengthy . The only good thing is the Vfx and the action sequences which are mostly copied from Hollywood as Action Director is from Hollywood..Music is average but background score is good.

Performances:After Bahubali expectations are too high for Prabhas . He has done good action and cool personality..He style is good but his hindi dubbing is too bad ..Some good dialogues are delivered by him in a cool fashion.

Shraddha Kapoor Is ok in the movie with too many unnecessary action sequences done by her..Jackie Shroff and Neil Nitin Mukesh have limited screen space …Tinnu Anand is wasted ..Though Chunky Pandey had done a good job as Baddie as Devraj
