Anup Jalota Big Boss Of Devotional Music Launches Shemaroo Bhakti Studio

Shemaroo Entertainment, India’s leading content powerhouse, announced the launch of Shemaroo Bhakti Studio. India’s first ever platform in the devotional music space to introduce new talent to the industry

 

To engage the digital savvy audiences and reconnect them to their devotional roots, the company introduced Shemaroo Bhakti Studio. A unique platform that will give an opportunity to aspiring talents and will help them establish their presence in the contemporary devotional space.

Shemaroo Bhakti Studio powered by UFO Moviez, will be a platform for budding artists to showcase their talent. Mentoring these young growing stars will be stalwarts from the Indian devotional music industry – Anup Jalota, Suresh Wadkar, and Saroj Khan.

 

Anup Jalota, shared his thought on the concept and said, “When we thought of bringing Bhakti Sangeet to this generation, we weren’t sure of the way to take it forward.The problem today is the choice, and so we focused on making devotional music westernised that will bring youngsters one of their favourites, and bring them close to this kind of music too. We will give an opportunity to people from all over the world to be a part of the show.”

Only criteria will be they should know classical music.

Adding his thought, Suresh Wadkar, who will be the other mentor on the show, said, “I would like to thank Shemaroo for bringing a beautiful and innovative concept. Over the last few decades Anup Jalota and I have worked on understanding what to give the upcoming generation through Bhakti Sangeet. In today’s disturbing time that we live in, such kind of devotional music is the need of the hour.”

To participate in the show, singers have to be well trained in either of the classical forms of music. As per the announcement made at the launch, the team is happy to give an opportunity to those who haven’t got a stage earlier and participants can be from any religion and can present the devotional songs in any preferred Indian language.

Shemaroo Bhakti Studio will be available on Shemaroo Bhakti app, ShemarooMe, Shemaroo’s YouTube platforms, all DTH and audio platforms like Jio-Saavn, Gaana and In Cable.
