Review of Movie Simmba

Overview :Simmba is a journey of a an Immoral cop to his transformation into singham type cop

StoryLine : The story revolves around Bhalerao Sangram aka Simmba (Ranveer Singh), who has joined police force only to earn money in short beimani ka dandha poori imandari se. He is transferred to Mira Mar Police Station Goa .

There he meets Durva Ranade (Sonu Sood ), who along with his two brothers runs all iilegal business of pubs and drugs smuggling etc. Durva is powerful and has local police and politicians as his pets including  Simmba in return Dimmba gets to earn a lot through him. Amidst all this he meets Shagun (Sara Ali Khan) who runs a catering business opposite to the police station.Simmba and Shagun fall in love with each other. And Simmba in no time makes all the local people like his own family members.

Simmba was unknown about the fact that Durva’s brother run illegal business of drug dealing.

This fact comes in light when a girl called Akriti who is Simmba’s  so called sister , by chance comes to know about such illegal business is going on. Akriti’s life gets in danger and she is brutally raped and murdered by Durva’s brothers

This incident changes whole life of Simmba. This incident also manages to bring out heart of Singham from Simmba’s heart.

Will he able to get justice for Akriti’s death. What happens next is for the audience to watch


Script Analysis And Director .: The Script is powerful as it throws light on the issue of rape which needs immediate judicial attention.

Rohit Shetty as we all know who has given hits like Singham and Golmaal series. This time he has explored this powerful subject and he has totally done total justice to the script .He has very well directed the movie that keeps you glued to your seat . The movie is totally fast paced with not a single dull moment. It has the topping of humour and emotions that will make you laugh and cry at the same time.

The dialogues are mind blowing especially Ranveer’ dialogues will make you laugh and laugh


Performances : Ranveer Singh has given best performance of his life . His expression and dailogues delivery with Marathi accent will make you fall in love with him. Especially the dialogues ‘Je Mala Mahit Nahi Tell Mala Sangh ‘ (Tell me what I don’t know). This dialogues with his expression will make you laugh till you drop.

He has given even his serious role will total gist.

Sara Ali Khan is a delight to watch though her role is small

Others are good as per their role

Final Word : It’s a total masala movie with all the right ingredients for total  fun and equally total social issue that needs to be solved
