ZEE5 Film Festival presents yet another short film under ZEE5 Film Festival.This Friday will see release of Tanuja Chandra’s Silvat starring Kartik Aryan and Meher Mistry
The film is shot in the areas of old Mumbai like Bhindi Bazaar and Null Bazaar etc. The story is beautiful it is set in the era of 1997 when many people were recruited in Riyadh.
The story revolves round Meher who is Married to Sultan but after 2 days of marriage Sultan has to leave for job in Riyadh. It’s been 5years since he has not returned , Meher is lonely.She gets attracted to Anwar (Kartik Aryan)who is a tailor and visits her home frequently for sticking her clothes , Anwar is also attracted to her . What happens next is for the audience to watch.
The main highlight of the movie is it’s music which is composed by Anurag Dondiyal. The Music is classical and is quiet in sync with the StoryLine. Tanuja Chandra has very well directed the movie.She has shown the turbulance a woman faces of helpnessnes that leaves a Silvat in one’s life.
