Skechers, An American performance and lifestyle footwear brand brings in the first edition of Skechers Performance Mumbai Walkathon. The announcement was made in the presence of Bollywood celebrity Kiara Advani, who has won hearts around the nation by her performances on screen, appealing to the masses to come, join the Walkathon, and walk of fitness.
The walkathon initiated/organised by Skechers India, will be taking place on 7th October 2018 i.e. the ‘World Walking Day’ in the new financial hub of Maximum city – MMRDA Grounds , Bandra Kurla Complex. The motive behind initiating the walkathon is to educate people about the benefits of walking. The walkathon consists of a 3-7 KM stretch open for all age groups. To be executed in October, thousands of participants to walk through the new financial hub of Maximum city – Bandra Kurla Complex.
Present at the announcement, Kiara Advani who was delighted to be associated with Skechers Mumbai Walkathon shared her thoughts, “I make it a point to stay as active as possible on my feet. My comfortable sneakers are all I need. On days when my schedule is too hectic for me to make it to the gym, I make sure to take out at least half an hour and go for a walk. It can uplift your mood and make your day. I would want to encourage everyone to make walking a part of their fitness regime, and call out to each and every one of you to join the Skechers Performance Mumbai Walkathon to take the first step”.
Kiara speaking about her career said that she is in a good mode of her life both personally and professionally .The year 2018 had given her fame with Karan Johar’s short Lust Stories on Netflix
She said that she is having goose bumps in her stomach as she will be seen in Karan Johar’s film Good news starring Akshay Kumar ,Kareena Kapoor Khan and Diljit Dosanjh .She is excited
To work with Akshay who launched her in fugly and kareena who she thinks is a diva is really a blessing in disguise .She has started her homework to keep up pace with them.
