Star Cast: Sparsh Walia, Alisha Chopra, Sakshi Vaidya, Kunal Vaid, Sargun Luthra, Tushar Chhibber

Director: Anuj Saini

Overview: Pehla Pyaar Doosri Baar is a , youth-centric romantic comedy

Storyline: The story follows three single school best friends—Vedant (Kunal Vaid), Gautam (Sparsh Walia), and Shivie (Sargun)—who are bogged down by mundane corporate lives. They decide to break the monotony by attending their school reunion in the picturesque backdrops of Dehradun/Mussoorie .Their primary mission to attend the school reunion is  to  track down their long-lost school crushes, confront their past, and see if first love deserves a second chance.

Vedant had a crush on the class topper, Simran (Sakshi Vaisya), Shivi had the hots for Karan (Tushar Chhibber), and Gautam had his own  one sided moment with the snooty Gehna (Alisha Chopra).
What follows is a series of attempts to impress their first loves, only for the trio to fall flat on their faces and confront the reality of how much time has passed since their school days. The second half, however, takes things up a notch when Vedant comes to know that Simran is engaged to Vikas and they are getting married in a week’s time ,  but  Vedant  is determined to stop this wedding by hook or crook  as he realises that Simran too loves him but is not revealing it , he gate crashes Simran’s  wedding what follows is  an explosion of chaos that reminds us of dilwale dulhaniya le jayege theme .AWill these 3 couple reach their destination l amidst  choas forms the crux of the movie.

Technical Review :Luv Ranjan  always gives us stories of love with its chostic ewuation Also in this movie fresh set of actors gives a new look to the movie
The first half is an absolute breeze. The easy camaraderie among the three leads feels authentic, and the setup effectively triggers a sense of school-days nostalgia.

The second-half picks up momentum toward the end, wrapping up with a fun, high-energy wedding-crash climax

The music is hummable .

Vidushi Tiwari’s cinematography captures the lush, scenic landscapes of Uttarakhand beautifully, making the film easy on the eyes.

However The overall story arc relies heavily on standard rom-com tropes and the typical Pyaar Ka Punchnama formula. It brings little thematic novelty to the table.

Performances:The movie acts as a launchpad for a fresh ensemble of newcomers, and for the most part, the debutants carry the film well:
Sparsh Walia (as Gautam): Draws early comparisons to Kartik Aaryan’s breakout days, displaying natural comic timing and strong screen presence .

Kunal Vaid (as Vedant): Anchors the emotional core of the film with a sincere, earnest performance.

Sakshi Vaidya & Alisha Chopra: Both actresses handle their romantic tracks with confidence,
A special cameo appearance by Rajkummar Rao serves as a major crowd-pleaser,

Final Words : Pehla Pyaar Doosri Baar is an entertaining movie with  energetic young cast, soothing soundtrack, and comforting nostalgic aesthetic.
