The team behind The Paradise hosted a press conference in Mumbai featuring Nani, costars Raghav Juyal, Sonali Kulkarni, Kayadu Lohar, and director Srikanth Odela.
The event started with a lighthearted delay after Raghav Juyal and Nani arrived late from the airport. Raghav shared that his driver accidentally drove off in another resident’s car from his building (of the same make and model) due to a mix-up by the security guard, causing temporary chaos and a brief flight delay.
Addressing the film’s ‘A’ (Adults Only) certification from the CBFC, Nani clarified that the violence in the film isn’t present “just for the sake of it.” He highlighted that while the action quotient is high, the core of The Paradise is a deeply emotional drama about love, family, and a mother-son bond.
Nani alsocleared up confusion regarding the recent Bengaluru court injunction obtained by the film’s producers. He assured journalists and critics that the order does not restrict genuine reviews, audience reactions, or criticism. Instead, it specifically targets organized, bot-driven, and AII generated defamatory smear campaigns aimed at hurting the film.
AtthepressconferenceExpressing his admiration for Bollywood commercial cinema, Nani shared that Baazigar remains one of his favorite films. He jokingly added that while he and Shah Rukh Khan share the exact same measurements, he wishes they also shared the exact same paycheck!
Nani reiterated his stance on avoiding the “pan-India” tag for the movie. He emphasized that The Paradise is fundamentally rooted in local Telugu culture and Secunderabad history, but holds an emotional universality that audiences across language barriers will connect with organically.
The full theatrical rollout across all languages (Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, English, Bengali, Spanish) takes place on September 25, 2026.
