Netflix Launches Trailer Of Film Maa Behen Starring Madhuri Dixit , Ravi Kishen , Tripti Dimri &More

The trailer launch event for the upcoming Netflix dark crime-comedy Maa Behen took place on May 22, 2026, at The Lalit hotel in Mumbai. It was a highly energetic and entertaining affair attended by the star-studded cast, including Madhuri Dixit, Triptii Dimri, Ravi Kishan, and debutant influencer Dharna Durga, alongside director Suresh Triveni.

The event stood out for its unique theme, interactive segments, and emotional moments: The Highlights A “Rigged” Game of Saanp-Seedhi: The stage was beautifully designed to resemble a middle-class living room from the film’s setting in “Adarsh Colony”. The lead trio—Madhuri, Triptii, and Dharna—played a modified game of Snakes and Ladders mixed with truth or dare.

The game led to hilarious banter about each other’s habits whenever they hit a ladder, and quirky dares when they landed on a snake.

The ‘Dhak Dhak’ Dance Moment: Days before the launch, the Netflix marketing team had delivered matching sarees to several women journalists. Those who showed up wearing them were called up on stage to dance live to the iconic song “Dhak Dhak” alongside Madhuri Dixit herself.

Ravi Kishan, who plays the flirty neighbor “Guptaji”, stole the show when he marched onto the stage wielding a wooden club, threw in some dramatic hip sways, and playfully flirted with Madhuri’s character before helping to officially unveil the trailer.

Triptii Dimri’s Emotional Reflection: On a more grounded note, Triptii shared an emotional moment reflecting on the script’s theme. She spoke about how society frequently “boxes” mothers and women into strict roles, recalling how she only truly understood her own mother’s human side and struggles after growing up.

The film centers around a single mother, Rekha (Madhuri Dixit), and her two dysfunctional daughters, Jaya (Triptii Dimri) and Sushma (Dharna Durga). The comedy turns pitch-black when their flirty neighbor, Guptaji, mysteriously drops dead inside their house. The trio is forced to frantically work together using washing powder to scrub away clues, dodging a suspicious cop (Arunoday Singh) and Guptaji’s highly nosy wife (Geetanjali Kulkarni).

Maa Behen is produced by Abundantia Entertainment and begins streaming on Netflix on June 4, 2026.
