Directed by: Jon Favreau

Starring: Pedro Pascal, Jeremy Allen White, Lateef Crowder, Brendan Wayne, Sigourney Weaver, Jonny Coyne, Steve Blum

Overview : Starwars after 7,years jumping to big screen from small screen after 3 seasons on tv

Storyline: Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin (played by Pedro Pascal, man-in-suit Brendan Wayne, and stunt performer Lateef Crowder) and his adorably doe-eyed, toddler-sized sidekick Grogu are now exclusive private contractors for the New Republic, defending their jurisdiction by stopping threats from Imperial baddies. . However, they’re about to meet their toughest challenge yet when their no-nonsense handler Colonel Ward (Sigourney Weaver) assigns them their latest, multi-pronged lmission. She needs the dynamic duo to bring in Lord Janu (Jonny Coyne), a criminal syndicate boss once believed to be dead. Trouble is, they don’t know what he looks like orwhere he might be located.

Col. Ward has brokered a exchange deal with Jabba the Hutt’s slippery brother and sister, who’ve agreed to lead them to their person of interest on the condition that Din Djarin returns with their nephew Rotta (Jeremy Allen White), who’s been kidnapped by Janu. Upon Din Djarin’s arrival in Shakari, a Hong Kong-esque/ modestly neon lit  city, he quickly ascertains Rotta is working off a debt for Janu by fighting in gladiator style arena matches. It comes as a surprise when he learns that Rotta has no interest in leaving his newfound glory, and that his aunt and uncle have ulterior motives for his return. Naturally, Din Djarin’s plan to make everyone happy goes pear-shaped when  he comes to know that

the rulers of the Hutts, may have something more sinister in mind for both Rotta and the New Republic. Mando and Grogu must navigate these murky criminal waters if they want to survive all this forms the crux of the movie

Technical Review :With the various puppets, the model work, a couple of stop-motion sequences, and computer-enhanced effects

The cinematography is often too dark and murky, with some of the heavy CGI action sequences being difficult to visually parse

The best scene in the movie involves Rotta, Mando, and a gladiator pit fight that slowly reveals itself to be a significant piece of Star Wars lore

However  the pacing and presentation of the film looks like three episodes of a canceled Season 4 stitched together.Favreau and Filoni seem so tethered to small-screen pacing that they lost the sense of scale needed for a massive IMAX release.

Performances:Grogu  ( Baby Yoda) Steals the Show: Unsurprisingly, Baby Yoda remains the emotional anchor of the story.

the practical puppeteering and animation  noting that the film is at its absolute best when it slows down to focus on the tender, quiet moments of parenting and childhood between Mando and Grogu.

Because Din Djarin’s face remains firmly behind his helmet for almost the entire movie, his character lacked a distinct soul or development, making him feel more like an “action figure” than a protagonist.

Final Words : Grab a popcorn and  watch a fun, beautifully scored space-western adventure with incredible puppet work and plenty of Grogu cuteness, it is a perfectly enjoyable ride—especially for families.
