Overview: It”s a rom com with a huge message
Storyline: Story begins with Rehan Mehra ( Kartik Aryan) , who is Happy go Lucky guy , he is an N.R.I and i Wedding Planner who stays with his mother Pinky ( Neena Gupta) , in America , Rehan bumps into Rumi ( Ananya pandet) at the airport , Rumi is a budding writer , at first Rumi gets irritated by Rehan and his humour , but it’s revealed that Rehan is also at the same Cruise Trip to Croatia ,for a week , Initial irritation leads to romance between both of them , but Rumi is seeking , nineties love in todays hook up culture ,When Rehan proposed to Rumi , she Tells him that she cannot leave India and her father who is Retired Army officer Col Amar Singh ( Jackie Shroff) and settled in Agra ,He is very much attached to his home as his wife’s soul is in the form of tree present there , as she has to take care of her father as her younger sister too is getting married and settling in Canada , and she has done her share of responsibility of taking care of their father while she was studying abroad , on the other hand Rehan is settled in America and he cannot leave his mother Pinky ( Neena Gupta) alone , after that many twist and turns come that forms the crux of the film
Technical Review : Direction by Sameer Vidwans is good ,who gave us Satya Prem Ki Katha , has directed a rom com, The cinematography and locations of Croatia are too good , even lavender village of Croatia is shown in the movie which is too beautiful .The first half of the movie is bit slow , but second half catches up and whole concept comes in picture , with all characters come together revealing entertaining part and also a strong message .
Performances : Kartik Aryan is looking stylish and he has played his part well , his chemistry with Ananya is good .Ananya is looking good but acting wise she has nothing much to do. Jacky Shroff is too good and Neena Gupta’s character is like hot and sour soup which she has played well
Final Words : It’s all about family love and bonding , that you can enjoy with family this festive season and enjoy Croatia and Agra too
