Review Of Movie Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari – A Light Rom-Com

Star Cast: Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor, Sanya Malhotra, Rohit Saraf, Maniesh Paul

Director: Shashank Khaitan

Overview : A Predictable Rom-Com

Storyline: The story begins with Sunny Sanskari ( Varun Dhawan) proposing his girlfriend Ananya ( Sanya Malhotra) , in bahubali theme as that’s her favourite movie , but ananya refuses to accept his proposal as she has decided to marry Uber Rich Vikram ( Rohit Saraf) selected by ananya’s mother , on the other hand Vikram coming under family pressure Dumps his girlfriend of 12years Tulsi Kumari ( Janhvi Kapoor) , Janhvi is heart broken and constantly crying , when Sunny comes to know about Tulsi , he meets her and they plan to gate crash and sabotage wedding ( destination wedding) of their execs so they both can get back love of their life .They make a plan on reaching the wedding venue , they will pretend to be in love with each other so their respective execs get jealous , Sunny and Tulsi try all the baits to break the wedding , during all this something happens between Sunny and Tulsi , there are many whirlwind situations that forms crux of the movie

Technical Review : Shashank Khaitan who has given us Badrinath ki Dulhania and many more , is back in directing rom-com , The first half is slow and filled with songs ,
The forced humour, particularly the attempts to explore character development during lighter moments, reveals the screenplay’s lack of strength.
Music bijuria songs is a hit, others are average .

Due to the predictable plot which offers nothing new , the story heavily depends on big sets , set in udaipur and Fab costumes. plus humurous poetry by Varun Dhawan.

Performances: Varun Dhawan is good , both in emotional connect and humourous part too, Janhvi Kapoor is looking good , Sanya Malhotra and Rohit Saraf has very much less to do .

Final Words : It’s Entertaining and light movie to enjoy this festive season.

Ratings : 3/5
