Review Of Movie War 2- An Action Thriller Full Of Twist &Turns

Overview: A sequel to 2019 War , War 2 Is full action packed movie with predictable plot.

Storyline: The Story begins with Kabir ( Hritik Roshan) a Raw Agent as we all know from War 1, but this time Kabir has turned mercenary , a person who kills for money. The opening sequence is an assignment which was given to him to kill particular people in Japan , as he is the person who never misses his targets .He is compelled to join global secret society called Kali , consisting diplomats from India , Pakistan, Bangladesh, China, Srilanka and many more.Their agenda is to bring down India and rule over it .Kabir is given an assignment to Kill Col Kuthra ( Ashutosh Rana) who is a mentor and father figure to him .He is compelled to kill him , Luthra’s daughter Kavya ( Kiara Advani ) is devastated, When a new Raw Chief Vikrant Kaul (!Anil Kapoor) takes Luthra’s place , As Luthra & Vikrant were good friends , Vikrant is determined to take revenge , he appoints Vikram ( Jr NTR) , Even Kavya joins him to eliminate Kabir , Kavya who once was in love with Kabir is now only determined to kill him.From thereon there are many twists and turns , When Kabir and Vikram come face to face it revealed that they are childhood friends, but is Vikram is in other side or at par with Kabir and will Kali’s mission be destroyed or fulfill forms the crux of the film

Technical Review: Technically the movie is brilliant with good VFX action sequences and sequences ranging around ten countries around the world, but the story is predictable .The first half is interesting and action sequences are good but second half the story goes haywire .The cinematography is good and fight sequences inside an iced cave between two stalwarts and are good enough .
The director has tried to bring best of south and bollywood star cast but it’s not worked due to poor storyline

Performances: Hritik Roshan has good action sequences, but he has played a safe game , whereas Jr NTR has good entry sequences but later becomes ordinary.Kiara Advani has limited screen space and Ashutosh Rana is good in a short but important role .Anil Kapoor is also good .

Final Words : It is an all in all action movie which is in sync with our Independence day as the main theme is India First .
