Overview : Metro… In Dino” is a cinematic triumph that excels in narrative structure, character
development, and emotional depth.
Storyline : The Story is set in Metro Cities Like Mumbai , Delhi , Bengaluru, & Kolkatta, ,Pune. There are couples living in these metro cities , ranging from all age groups , There is Senior Couple Neena Gupta who has 2 daughters , living in different cities , Elder is Kajol Ghosh (Konkana Sen Sharma) who is married to Monty (Pankaj Tripathi) and younger daughter is jhumki (Sara Ali Khan) who is in relationship with her colleague . Kajol and Monty are middle aged couple , and they also have a teenage daughter who is confused about her sexuality , on the other hand Kajol Discovers that her husband Monty is visiting dating sites and having a good time as all his freinds do the same . Kajol Wants to leave her husband for cheating on her , she leaves home with her daughter , to her parents home , Monty follows her and apologizes , Kajol’s mother feels that Monty deserves a second chance but Kajol is not ready , as she thinks that she cannot live lie a doormat like her mother who accepted her fathers temper and infedility and moved on but she cannot , On the other hand chumki who inspite of being in a relationship is totally confused , she meets Parth( Aditya Roy Kapur)who is s free bird and a playboy ,she feels Parth is like a fresh breath for her . Then there is other couple Akash (Ali Fazal)who is in relationship with Shruti (Sana Sheikh) ,Akash is a struggling musician which leads to toxic relationship with his wife .All these stories are weaved together to present a colourful bouquet with presence of Pritam , Pappon and Raghav Chaitanya known as Metro Band who make their magical musical entry with their presence right from frame one.
Technical Review : Anurag Basu returns to a familiar terrain but explores it with matured sensibility.
The film doesn’t shy away from uncomfortable truths and instead embraces them, showcasing
flawed yet deeply human characters. Pritam’s score is subtle and haunting, working in perfect
synergy with the visual storytelling. Story presented by Anurag Basu is simple reflecting complexity of relationship , prevalent in today;s times , the story connects with all age groups right ffrom teenagers to seniors .Cinematography is good The Music is outstanding with its presence in every frame .Anurag Basu explores many colors of love
Performances : All Actors have performed very well in this movie as per their role , Pankaj Tripathi is too good , Konkana is naughty in her role especially her scenes in Goa , Sara is like any other youngster of todays modern world , Neena Gupta and Anupam Kher as seniors are outstamding , Ali Fazal and Sara will connect with todays couples .Aditya Roy Kapur is looking very good
Final Words : Its a feel good movie in sync with the monsoon season ongoing noe , which you can enjoy this weekend
