Storyline : Chidiya Is a Story of two boys who are brothers Shanu ( Svar Kamble ) and Bua ( Ayush Patha) who stay in a cramped room in 0a chawl in Mumbai .They happen to watch a game of badminton in an apartment near their chawl , they both dream to play that game , they decide to turn a junkyard in their chawl abd convert it into badminton court , they make lots of effort abd manage to buy rackets and shuttle cock which they call chidiya , they were on the brink of fulfilling their wish but fate has other things they their world starts to shatter due to the realities and responsibilities of life and they have to work at a small age and support their mother as their have expired.How they cherish their little joys while struggling to make a living at a young age firms crux of the movie
Technical Review : Director Mehran Amrohi had struggled for 7 years to get his directorial debut in theatres in India inspite of its internstional acclaim and the wait is really worthy .He has very well directed the movie .Each and every shot shows reality and hardships of a poor person to its core .The innocence of kids and their dream for playing a game is shown in such a way that it will blow you away and make you cry .
Performances : Child Artist Svar and Ayush pathak are too good , acting comes natural to them , They are multiple talented .Vinay Pathak as uncle and Amruta Subhash as mother are too good
Final Words : Once in blue noon comes a movie that will touch your heart . A must watch in a thearte near you
