Review of Movie Pushpa 2 -The Rule – A Total Entertaining And Thrilling Visual Extravangaza

Star Cast: Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Jagadeesh Pratap Bhandari, Rao Ramesh, Sunil, Anasuya Bharadwaj

Director: Sukumar

Overview : Allu Arjun unleashes his wild fire like never before with wild action and fantastic dailogues.

Storyline :The story revolves around Pushpa Raj (Allu Arjun)who in his area has grown as not fire but  wild  fire , he has set up an entire empire of syndicate of people who are part of his red sandalwood smuggling . business, His syndicate consists of politicians  policeman and big smugglers .His wife Srivali ( Rashmika Mandana) who always support him and is his strong pillar ,wanted a photo of his with chief minister of the state but the chief minister refuses to pose with him , He declares in media that the chief minister himself will come on a particular date and pose with him .In the frame of that given timeline , he manages to change the position of chief minister and have a person as chief minister who is from his syndicate , by giving crores of bribe , such is the power of Pushpa , who has become a brand now ,

Pushpa’s arch enemy , Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat (Fahadh Faasil), is back with a vengeance and promises to be the biggest obstacle in Pushpa’s smuggling syndicate. But, apart from this, some old foes too return, and he makes some additional enemies on the way.

On the personal note his only regret is that he is not accepted in family as he is a step son , his brother has not accepted him as part of family and family name .

There are many twist and turns like Bhanwar Singh Sekhawat , chase him all along the way , political unrest and personal woes and all challenges he faces are part of crux of the film.

Technical Review : Writer and Director Sukumar attempts to serve us a fine blend of mass, intensity, and entertainment when it comes to the dialogues and some of the high-octane scenes. The action sequences and dailogues of the movie are too good to be missed .The cinematography is spectacular,  The first half is too good most of the thrill sequences are all there in first half , though second half is reversed with more focus on family sequences and many twist in the plot .

The pace is too long and could have been cut short,  the length of the movie  can play a spoilt sport .

Performances : Allu Arjun  shines in all the massy dialogues and dance numbers, especially his trademark walking and the ‘Jhukega Nahi’ dialogue. But the highlight of them all is his Ma Kaali-inspired act,  He allows the divinity, madness, devotion, rage, and anger to engulf him completely in this  scene. Arjun also shines in the emotional scenes wherein his character still grapples with a deep sorrow because of his father’s family not accepting him.

Faahad Faasil is sheer brilliance as the conniving and crooked Police  Men Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat. He especially shines in the scenes wherein he is outsmarted by Pushpa but is still hell-bent on getting his vengeance.

Rashmika Mandana As Srivali shines in her character , she is loving and caring and is is not afraid to take a stand for her husband’s honor and dignity .She is perfect.

Final Word : Its a good weekend watch with total entertainment and thrill
