Overview : An Intense Love Story
Storyline : The Story Opens Up IN ARTHUR Road Jail Wherein Krishna(Ajay Devgan ) Is serving his term of 25 years in prison for 2 murders , every inmates fear that if he removes his specs then the the person facing him is done for , He is on the brink of completing his imprisonment ,infact he comes to know that govt has ordered for his release 2.5 years before due to good conduct but Krishna is skeptical to be release as he is not prepared to face the world , especially he believes that the girl he loved won’t be waiting for him , the story then goes into flashback as to why Krishna was Imprisoned for 25 years . The story is set a a big chawl in Mumbai wherein Krishna then played by Shantanu Maheshwari falls in love with Vasudha (Saiee Manjerekar ) residing in opposite wing .Both love each other so much and believe that no one can separate them , Krishna works in a company and he gets an opportunity to work in Germany on a project for 2 years , he breaks this news to Vasudha , she is sad and happy at the same time , sad as to they wont be able to meet each other and happy for Krishna’s future ,one night before Krishna’s departure to Germany , while returning late to home , fate takes a bad turn , some incident happens that All Dreams of Krishna Are Shattered and he is send to jail for 25 years , he takes promise from Vasudha to fulfill her dreams and move on , also tells her not to visit him in Prison . The Movie then Moves to Present Day when Krishna is been Released , His Friend Jignesh (Jay Uphadaya) comes to pick him up , Krishna Wants to visit the chawl to relive his moments , there Vasudha (Tabu) comes to pick him up she takes him to her home and visit her husband , Krishna And Vasudha meet after 22 years but what happens when J[Krishna Meets Vasudha’s Husband played by Jimmy Shergil , what happens then and also some secrets are also revealed those form crux of the movie
Technical Review : The Director has given an old script that slowly progresses but it leads to nothing . The plot is hollow , first half is too slow , there is some progress in second half , but all twist are revealed towards the climax which is interesting . The screenplay of the movie is good and Ajay Devgan And Tabu Look Good Together , the background score towards the climax is good . The intensity of love between Krishna And Vasu is potrayed Brilliantly
Performances : Ajay Devgn is at his best , the intensity of his love is captured beautifully , His Expressions And Akwardness is totally good , Tabu is too good , Jimmy Shergill shines in his character,
Shantanu Maheshwari has acted well , Saiee is average
