Storyline : The film is set in rural areas of Madhya Pradesh , where in
Deepak ( Sparsh Shrivastav) marries Phool (Nitashi Goel) , His family returns after marriage to their village but Deepak has to stay back in the village due to some pending rituals , on the day of bidai , Deepak and his wife have to travel through a passenger train from his brides village to his , phool has to cover her face with ghoonghat , while boarding the train , they discover that there are 2 more bride and grooms in same compartment, when their station arrives Deepak in a hurry by mistake brings somebody else bride Jaya (Pratibha Ranta) home .From there on a roller coaster ride begins ,
Deepak approaches Local Police Inspector Shyam Manohar ( Ravi Kishen) , to find phool , During his investigation he is suspicious about Jaya as she is hiding something from deepak and his family ,on the other hand phool is stranded ar a railway station as she doesn’t know which village does her groom belongs to , there she meets manju granny who owns a tea & snacks stall at tge railway station , phool stays with her .How does phool and deepak unite and what is jaya’s secret forms the crux of the film.
Technical Review : Director Kiran Rao retuns to direction after a long gap .I would say its a very well directed movie ..Kiran tells her story in the most simplistic way without being too preachy , she has shown the patrauchy system that still prevails in rural India , it focus on many points like freedom for women , women empowerment which is very important and things need to be revolunised but all this is shown with humorous situations .The film will make u think , laugh , cry and compel all simultaneously .The story is strong and village life is shown to perfection.
Performances: Sparsh Shrivastav, Nitashi and Pratibha Ranta , all 3 are talented and too good as per their role .Ravi Kishen is legend , he has a very surprising twist in the climax that turns the whole movie in right direction .Another surprise is Manju Granny who is a big surprise in this movie.
Final Words : Movie os full of humour and fun moments too good to be missed.
