Though there are friendly neighbors who are just a call away , Particularly a neighborhood grocer (Rajit Kapur) who has developed a soft corner for Sadhana, so much so that sadhana has written the house to him in her will , this is something Anamika or Miku to her mother, finds difficult to adjust to. She is furious about this whole situation , Then there is a nurse (Bharti Patel) who helps Sadhana deal with the situation even as she is grappling with her own family matters.

Sadhana wants to stay in her house only , she is adamant of staying in her house only Anamika is considering putting her into a old age care facility and move on with her life. Technical Review : Director Pushan Kriplani has dealt with the difficult subject of differences between mother and daughter without going overboard. He has presented the story in such a way that u get hooked to the screenplay.
The best part of it all is , the film doesn’t get judgemental about right or wrong about both characters nor does it seek sympathy for any of the two characters. Nor does it try to paint any of them as a self-seeking person. Infact watching goldfish we can see how unpredictable life can be.
Performances : Kalki Koechlin is very good in the film though one would want to hate anamika for being selfish but she has done the role gracefully and presented it with brilliant body language and blank gaze , She has played this complex character grappling with childhood memories full of anguish , brilliantly
Deepti Naval has played her role of a person suffering from dementia perfectly going through various stages with grace and also deal with scares of stained mother and daughter relationshiop is potrayed by her seamlessly .
