Overview ; Insidious :The Red Door, the fifth (and final instalment in this alarmingly resilient horror franchise.

Storyline : In keeping with this legacy sequel approach, “The Red Door” features the return of the now-grown-up( Ty Simpkins) Dalton Lambert Josh Lambert (Patrick Wilson) as the father struggles to create a bond between them after whatever happened last time around as Josh whose ability to astral project himself while sleeping landed him unwanted attention from those pesky demons that populate the other-worldly, time-bending realm known as the Further back when he was a child. But just as Dalton sets off for college, he and his father Josh (Wilson) — from whom Dalton inherited his out-of-body powers — find themselves once again targeted by the denizens lurking just behind the titular door that separates our world from the Further. There’s nothing quite like battling evil specters of the mind .how Josh and Dalton deal with these past demons and conclude them and also will they strengthen the bond between a father and a son or otherwise forms the crux of the film .
Technical Review : Leigh Whannell & Scott Teems’s story is a mess that unravels slowly. It tricks you into getting scared in the first half but later it becomes too obvious.Patrick Wilson should have stuck to acting rather than directing ..
In the first half the movie really scares you but after that it becomes calmer.
The film has a good dialogue
” It gets riskier as you go further.” Which connects with lots of things

Insidious : The Red Door
Performances : Patrick Wilson looks like he is directing the film while acting also , the most scary scene he has reserved for himself , the mri scene
Ty Simpkins is good though his expressions are same through out the movie.
Rose Byrne & Sinclair Daniel are just about okay, doing their job, nothing extraordinary.
Final Words : If you like horror genre then its suitable to watch once ..
