Zara Hatke Zara Bachke Team Celebrated Its Sucess At A Grand Press Conference

The success press conference for the recently released film Zara Hatke Zara Bachke took place today at a Mumbai multiplex, with the presence of Vicky Kaushal, Sara Ali Khan, director Laxman Utekar, and producer Dinesh Vijan. The comedy drama has turned out to be a pleasant surprise, amassing Rs. 30.60 crores within just five days of its release. During the event, Vicky Kaushal delivered a heartfelt speech, praising Laxman Utekar and Dinesh Vijan.

Speaking at the Zara Hatke Zara Bachke success meet, Vicky Kaushal expressed his gratitude, stating, “Dinesh Vijan had every logical reason to bring the film to an OTT platform. But he took the risk of releasing a film like this in cinema halls in today’s times.” He further added, “We thank all of you because a film like this, which had a trailer that made people say, ‘Oh, this should have been on OTT,’ has managed to run in theaters.”

Vicky highlighted the victory of the audience and credited the confidence of director Laxman Utekar. He shared, “Among all of us, Laxman sir was the most confident. He used to say, ‘I am not worried. I know this story will reach the audience. I don’t know how well the movie will perform, but it will definitely connect with people. No one will say they couldn’t connect.’”

Laxman Utekar said, “15 days ago, I got a call from Dino sir (producer Dinesh Vijan) asking, ‘Sir, copy ready ho jaayegi?’. I said, ‘Ho jaayegi’. He asked, ‘Kitne din mein?’. When I replied, ’10 din mein’, he asked, ‘8 din mein ho jaayegi?’! I said, ‘Woh bhi ho jaayega’.”

He further said, “Film acchi bana sakte hai. Main bana leta hoon, waise! But to get the film to the audience is a task in itself. The industry was saying, ’15 din mein kaise hoga’, ‘unko toh date mil gayi’. Sab chup ho gaye. Thank you Dino sir kyunki aapne theater ke darwaze khule kar diye. It was said that only films with a large canvas will work. But you proved that a film with good content can also score in cinemas.”
