Technical Review ; It Takes Guts to make film on such sensitive issues but Kashmir Files has paved the way to making films on such bold and sensitive issues. Though the director has divided the movie into two parts: the first half portrays the girls’ conversion process, while the second half shows Shalini’s journey as a member of ISIS and her eventual escape but there are many loose ends to the story and it lacks conviction .There are many scenes that are very disturbing and cannot be tolerated by weak heart persons ..There are images of brutality that will shatter the audience to its core. The cinematography is good from Beautiful Kerala beaches to Rugged terrain of Afghan Border that is showcased.

Performances : Adah Sharma delivers a compelling performance as Shalini, showcasing her character’s plight and state of mind when she is being brainwashed. She keeps up with the South Indian accent while delivering her dialogues, which adds to her performance’s authenticity. Also shows that she has worked hard to maintain her dailect.Yogita Bihani’s climax monologue is fiery and delivered with conviction. Siddhi Idnani and Sonia Balani also deliver commendable performances,
Final Words : Watching such movie that is based on controversial and sensitive issues is a challenge to watch .
