Overview : The Song Of The Scorpions Is All About Destructive Love.

Storyline : The story is set in Thar Desert In Rajasthan revolving  around Zubeida ( Waheeda Rehman) And her Daughter Nooran (Golshifteh Farahani) who are healers , On one such night a man has been brought who is stung by the scorpion , Nooran who heal people who are stung by scorpion by singing song of the scorpion , near the pulse of the person bitten by scorpion, this way the poision does not enter the blood…The night moves on and magically the man is saved .

Among the onlookers was Aadam (Irrfan), a widowed camel trader. Later, he approaches Nooran and requests her hand in marriage. “Nikah, meri jutti (marriage, my foot),” she retorts, playfully turning him down while accepting payment for her healing services. The film takes a dark turn from here. Nooran is drawn out under false pretenses one night and raped by a stranger. She loses her singing voice. Her grandmother and teacher, Zubeidaa (Waheeda Rehman), disappears. Nooran is ostracised by her indigenous community. Curiously, Aadam shows up again, still keen on his marriage proposal despite all that’s befallen the girl.

Nooran is determined to take charge of her life and deal with her misfortune in her own way which forms the crux of the film.

Technical Review : Director Anup Singh who has previously given Qissa , continuing his legacy he has presented this movie as a true folk tale..The story is burned at a slow pace.The life of tribal people in cold thar desert is beautifully presented.The cinematography is too good ..He has directed the story well that in spite of its slow pace the audience cannot take their eyes off the screen .

Performancez : Its unfortunate that it is the last movie of great actor like Irrfan Khan , he speaks so much with his eyes and completely blends with the character and true to its essence. Its a delight to watch Irrfan Khan on the screen

Farhani who is an Iranian Actress but she has blended in this character so well.. She is looking too good. 

Waheeda Rehman is a living legend no match for her performance.

Final Words : Its a must watch and enjoy this last movie of Irrfan Khan
