Overview : Bholaa is the hindi adaptation of Tamil movie Kaithiby Lokesh Kanagaraj’s , but with jaw dropping action sequences.
Storyline : The story begins with IPS Officer Diana Joseph (Tabu ), who through an exhilarating truck chasing scene, manages to catch cocaine worth 1000s of crores which was being transported by Sikka Gang’s Nithari (Vineet Kumar) & his younger/crazier brother Ashwathama (Deepak Dobriyal). Ashwathama goes crazy as it’s not just the drugs captured by the police but also his brother…
Diana escapes Ashwathama’s trap of getting intoxicated at a higher rank official’s retirement party. Still, many of her colleagues are drugged at the risk of losing a life if not treated in a couple of hours.
She takes up the task of transferring all the officers to a 3-hour far hospital , she finds bholaa at the site , who is freed from prison after serving imprisonment for 10 years , he is looking forward to meet his daughter after 10 long years but Bholaa seems to be at a wrong place at wrong time Diana insists him to drive the truck and save life of policemen ,as he is the only one who knows how to drive a truck ..On the other hand Ashwathama , informs all his acquaintance gangs in lallan ganj that who ever finds his 1000s crore of drugs and get Diana alive to him will be rewarded handsomely..From there on starts all the action sequences .Once Bholaa , Diana and Kharchi a caterer , board the truck , they are attacked by gangster at each and every turn.. The twist and turns keep happening at each and every point which forms the crux of the movie.
Technical Review : Technically the movie is brilliant with beautiful action sequences which have not been done before in bollywood , the use of vfx is also brilliant and apt as per the sequences ..Ajay Devgan As a director has very well directed the movie ,giving thrilling moments from beginning to end plus a suspense is also maintained with regards to back story of Bholaa’s character which is not revealed yet as to his past ., awaiting a sequel.
Performances : Its an out and out Ajay Devgan Movie .As an actor par excellence he performs more with his eyes then dailogues , he depicts his pain , emotions and love with his eyes only , Actions by him are jaw dropping , they will keep u glued to your seats
Tabu is too good and totally in sync with Ajay Devgan , Deepak Dobriyal is a surprise package with his negative role and different get up will keep u on the edge of your seat..
Final Words : Watch the movie for its brilliant action sequences which shines more with 3d effect .A good weekend watch
