Ajay devgan , Akshaye Khanna, Tabu, Ishita Dutta, Mrunal Jadhav, Saurabh Shukla, Rajat Kapoor
Director : Abhishek Pathak .
Overview : Though it is a sequel to 2015 Drishyam , which is a hindi adaptation and not a copy of Malayam film.

Storyline : The sequel begins exactly where the prequel was left , in the opening scene it is shown Ajay Devgan ( Vijay Salgoankar ) who is a cable operator goa with a spade and burying body of a young man his daughter killed at their family home and saved his family from the law, but the twist here is there was an eye witness who is a murderer David who is arrested by police at same night and sentenced to 7 years of imprisonment ..
Seven years later, Vijay is living it up. He owns a multiplex and is at work to be a film producer. He is in talks with a Dubai-based writer (Saurabh Shukla) to make his first film. His wife Nandini (Shriya Saran) is still worried the past will catch up on them. The two daughters are grown up; the elder suffers from episodes of trauma-induced fits. Vijay has an aura that best translates to bodyguard-angel rather than father and husband who believes family before self — is tested to the extreme when former IG of Goa police Meera Deshmukh (Tabu) whose son Vijay’s daughter killed seven years ago, and her husband Mahesh (Rajat Kapoor) are back in Goa. With a new IG ruling the Goa police force Tarun Ahlawat (Akshaye Khanna )the case reopens and Vijay now has to exert every cell of his brain to save his family another time. There are many twists and turns in the story thereafter , the climax is full of thrills that forms the main core of the film .
Technical Review : Director Abhishek Pathak has done total justice to the pĺot In the first half he has slowly build up the pressure for the second half to be a total blast .
The writing of the movie is gripping and impactful , though the first half is slow which will make you think if story will progress or no , but the second half is totally opposite and will keep you on the edge of your seats . The screenplay is powerful with equally poweful background score .The cinematography is good Especially the aerial shots of interiors of goa.

Performances :Ajay Devgan has played his role in its full glory , his intense look and his his cool and calm body language will take your heart away , he speaks with his intense eyes which is a big plus point for his character..Akshay Khanna is a delight to watch as an investigating officer. Tabu and Rajat Kapoor are good as per their role.
Final Words : A good thriller has come after a long time so don’t miss it .
Rating : 3.5*/5*
